Itinerary

Day 1

Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Shillong (100km/4hrs)

Your trip with us will start by receiving you at Guwahati Airport. From there we will take you to Shillong, which will take nearly 4 hours from Guwahati. Shillong, a hill station from Meghalaya is a beautiful place to enjoy holidays. It is famous for its beautiful cloudy Scotland like weather and hence popularly known as “Scotland of the East”. It is hence a major tourist attraction India. In the route to Shillong from Guwahati, we will stop at Umiam Lake where you can enjoy some Momos with the view by the side of the lake. On reaching the destination, we will check you in the hotel for the night stay. If time permits, we will take you to sightseeing of the city.

Day 2

Shillong to Mawlynnong & Dawki Sightseeing, Mawlynnong to Cherrapunji (245km/9hrs)

The next very morning we will take you on the exciting trip to Mawlynnong, Dawki and Cherrapunji. On the road to Mawlynnong we will show you the Elephant falls and Shillong peak, from where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the beautiful. After a few hours’ drive we will reach Mawlynnong, the cleanest village of Asia! Mawlynnong is primarily famous for its cleanliness across the globe and also a living root bridge. Very near to Mawlynnong, we will take you to Dawki - a border town at India and Bangladesh border. At Dawki you can enjoy river boating on river Umngot. There is also a beautiful suspension bridge over the river made by British in 1932. After that we will take you to Cherrapunji. You will stay at Cherrapunji for the night.

Day 3

Cherrapunji Sightseeing (60km/7hrs)

Cherrapunji is the wettest place on the Earth. It is also famous for living root bridges, Mawsmai caves, Nohkalikai waterfalls, Seven Sister waterfalls. In whole day sightseeing, we will cover all the beauties of Cherrapunji. You will be staying at Cherrapunji for the night.

Day 4

Cherrapunji to Kaziranga (370km/9hrs)

The next morning we will head out to Kaziranga. It will be around 370 kilometres drive, so it will be a journey day. You will enjoy the roadside views of Meghalaya and Assam and definitely the tasty cuisines of the two states in this journey. Your stay will be at Kaziranga. Also, if time permits we will take you to local sightseeing of Kaziranga.

Day 5

Kaziranga Sightseeing (80km/8hrs)

At the morning we will take you to elephant safari inside Kaziranga National Park. Then we will take you to visit local places nearby such as orchid garden, Karbi ethnic village, Assam’s heritage tea gardens, and Assamese villages and nearby beautiful spots. After that we will take you to jeep safari of KNP in the afternoon. You will stay for the night at Kaziranga.

Day 6

Kaziranga to Guwahati, Airport Drop (240km/5hrs)

The next day, we will head out to Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati, if time permits we will take you on local sightseeing tour of Guwahati city. Guwahati is beautiful city and it has many places to visit like the Kamakhya temple, the Brahmaputra River, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra etc. Then we will drop you at the Guwahati airport.

Accommodation as mentioned sharing basis and mentioned meal plan.
All transportation will be organized by us through an dedicated air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver.
Breakfast is included in the package.
Cost of 1 jeep safari with a dedicated jeep in Kaziranga National Park is included in the package.
Cost of 1 elephant safari in a shared elephant ride in Kaziranga National Park, subjected to availability, is included in the package.
Pickup and drop from Guwahati Airport / Railway station/Bus station.
All sightseeing, land transfer & inter hotel transfer.
Driver allowance, Toll, Parking, Road Tax, Fuel charge, night halt, Interstate charges, Kaziranga Forest toll and forest guard welfare fees are included.
Child below 5 yrs sharing same bed with parents will be complimentary and will be according to hotel rules.

All personal expenses including all other activities not mentioned in the itinerary.
Meals those not available on the itinerary.
5% GST will be charged on the total cost.
Entry fees of sightseeing spots, camera fees and optional activity/service costs like Rafting, Trekking, Guide fees etc are not included in the package.

For Foreign Nationals, surcharges like national park entry fees, Protected Area Permit and mandatory guide fees (for Arunachal State trips) are excluded.

Vehicle Details

The standard package cost is calculated for either a Toyota Innova (AC) or a Mahindra Maarazzo (AC). So, a dedicated vehicle of the said type, with a dedicated driver, would be provided for all of the five package options.

Paradise Northeast does NOT have any HIDDEN CHARGES.
If someone asks for extra money during the journey, Please inform us. We will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our knowledge and consent.
Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment.
In case of non availability of rooms in the mentioned hotels, this will be communicated to you and we will provide other options.
Hotels for each category are selected as per the budget and through our feedback system.
There is no star category hotel available in all places. However, we provide the best possible option as per your tour category.
Certain hotel may enforce special tariffs for mandatory gala/dinner on special dates like Christmas and/or New Year's Eve etc. The surcharge in the hotel tariff is not included while calculating the total cost of the package. You may need to pay additional amount for certain hotels for some special dates.
The dedicated vehicle provided to you is only to serve you the itinerary. It is not at your disposal.
As per Tawang local laws, outside vehicles are not allowed for local sightseeing. Therefore, we may have to arrange different local vehicle for Tawang sightseeing and we can’t assure about the quality of that vehicle as they provide vehicles as per their methods.
Credit Cards / Traveler's check are not freely accepted in many places.
In this region, roof carriers are not allowed in the vehicles. So, it is advised to bring luggage accordingly.
We advise you to check the temperature/weather of the places you are going to visit, and bring necessary clothes accordingly.
Woolen clothes, Jacket, Raincoat/Umbrella etc. are advisable to carry according to weather conditions.
We suggest you to check reviews and location of hotels mentioned to make sure it is as per your preferences before confirming the package.
Any extra breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
Paradise Northeast has the right to upgrade any hotel room type or vehicle type without charging extra amount from the guest. However, we never downgrade the same.
The guest must carry photo identification like Passport, Voter ID Card or Driving License IN ORIGINAL at the point of check in at the hotel.

The normal check-in time for a hotel is 2 PM, and normal check-out time for a hotel is 11 AM. However, this is subjected to change as per the hotel policies. The timing of meals and/or inclusions of a certain hotel room are as per the hotel policies.
